What is Sugaring Hair Removal?

How Does Sugaring Work?

 The sugaring paste is applied to the skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. A fabric strip or just the fingers are then used to swiftly remove the paste, pulling the hair out from the root. This technique minimizes discomfort and reduces the risk of skin irritation.

What is the aftercare of sugaring?

Cleanse the Area: Gently cleanse the treated area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser to remove any residue from the sugaring paste and to prevent infection. Avoid using harsh or scented products that could irritate the skin.

Avoid Heat and Sun Exposure: Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and sun exposure for at least 24-48 hours after sugaring. The skin may be more sensitive during this time, and heat and sun exposure could cause further irritation.

Avoid Tight Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing to prevent friction and irritation on the freshly sugared area.

Exfoliate Gently: After a few days (usually around 2-3 days), you can start gentle exfoliation to prevent ingrown hairs. Use a mild exfoliating scrub or a soft brush to help keep the hair follicles open.
